Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Workstation Performance Optimization Specialist to join our team in Raleigh, NC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for analyzing CPU, memory, GPU, storage, and battery life on our ThinkStation and ThinkPad P-series workstation products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review benchmark results to identify performance issues related to hardware, thermal, power, and/or software/driver/firmware issues
  • Develop and execute performance test plans to ensure optimal system performance
  • Build up systems and swap hardware as needed to troubleshoot performance issues
  • Install and run various benchmarks to analyze and validate results
  • Present data in an understandable way to our sales team and customers
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years experience in computer design, performance, or a related field
  • Experience in computer architecture, Windows and/or Linux operating systems, BIOS, device drivers
