We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Plasma Center Nurse, RN to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Donor Eligibility: Determine donor eligibility accurately and in a timely manner, including proper management of informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self-exclusion.
- Medical Support: Evaluate and manage donor reactions, manage donor deferral, and refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
- Assist the EHS Program: Conduct pre-placement evaluations, maintain employee medical records, and support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent graduate of a recognized educational nursing program.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Certifications: Currently licensed or certified in the state where duties will be assigned: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA).
