Climate Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical field supervision to up to 12 HVAC technicians, fulfilling the role of a service technician as needed, and mentoring others to be the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical field supervision to up to 12 HVAC technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Fulfill the role of a service technician as needed, providing hands-on support to the team and ensuring that all service calls are completed to the highest standard.
  • Mentor and train new technicians, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Teach Climate Systems technicians how to read and interpret product specifications, work with building specifications, drawings, and designs, and respond to emergency service calls to minimize system downtime.
  • Provide timely, proactive feedback to reinforce positive results or reduce potential call backs due to similar incidents.
  • Assist with service call backs and provide education to the technician who ran the call originally to mitigate future issues.
  • Understand the importance of positive cash flow and how it relates to Service Call execution, the details input by your Team, and the timely completion of work.
  • Help the company develop and implement "On Call" and overtime expectations with your Team.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC service and repair, with a strong background in technical supervision and leadership.
  • Proven track record of success in mentoring and training technicians, with a focus on developing their skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technicians, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery.
