Job Title: Lead Installer Level 4

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Installer Level 4 with expertise in heating and air conditioning system installations for a direct hire opportunity with SST Direct. In this role, you will ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction by installing systems to company standards. Additionally, you will supervise other installers, ensuring timely project completion while maintaining job performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and supervise the installation of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, and condensing units.
  • Lead and supervise a team of installers, ensuring quality and timely job completion.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures while maintaining professionalism.
  • Oversee the complete process of HVAC installations, from start to finish, without supervision.
  • Troubleshoot, start up, and test equipment to ensure systems operate correctly.
  • Ensure proper installation of ductwork, low and high voltage wiring, and HVAC components.
  • Train entry-level personnel and participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and paperwork, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of all Level 1, 2, and 3 qualifications.
  • Possession of Level 4 tools.
  • Passed the NATE core test.
  • Advanced understanding of HVAC system layout, design, fabrication, and installation.
  • Proficient in residential and light commercial installations.
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and HVAC tools.
  • Ability to size and draw ductwork.
  • Knowledge of both line and low-voltage wiring and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to think outside the box.
  • Proficiency in installing round and rectangular ductwork for residential and light commercial applications.
  • Advanced understanding of sheet metal fittings.
  • Knowledge of wet heat installations, rooftop equipment, and mini-split systems.
  • Experience with 208/230 3-phase wiring and rooftop safety protocols.
