This role assists the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations and supervises the team in their absence. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides exceptional guest service in a fast and friendly manner, coaching and correcting team members as needed.
  • Conducts second interviews for team members and shift leads, ensuring a thorough understanding of expectations and responsibilities.
  • Maintains a clean restaurant environment by performing general housekeeping duties, assigning tasks to team members, and ensuring completion.
  • Directs the team to prepare and serve food in accordance with Brand, Company, and health department regulations, coaching team members to follow guidelines for food preparation and production management.
  • Cascades relevant information to team members, assists with new product training, and ensures product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met.
  • Monitors and ensures accuracy of all cash, sales, and inventory control records, completing end-of-shift and end-of-day paperwork and counts as required.
  • In the absence of the Restaurant Manager, the Assistant Manager completes daily, weekly, and end-of-period paperwork, inventory counts, cash counts, truck orders, and other administrative duties as needed.
  • Guarantees a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes, completing reports on incidents following the 5-minute rule policy.
  • Partners with the Restaurant Manager to ensure all financial and operational metrics are met, resulting in a profitable restaurant, living Company values: One Team, Do the Right Thing, Take Ownership, Play to Win.

Requirements:
  • Full-time position, availability during all hours of operation, and at least one hour pre-opening and post-closing required
  • Valid state Driver's License required
