Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect to join our team as a senior technical advisor, platform technical lead, and deployment specialist. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, implementation, and deployment of Salesforce solutions for large federal agencies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce architecture, development, and deployment, with experience in establishing Centers of Excellence and managing complex technical projects. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Architectural Review Board and provide technical guidance on Salesforce architecture designs, code, and configuration.
  • Assist clients in pre-sales capacity by conducting discovery, mapping functional requirements to Salesforce platform capabilities, and preparing solution recommendations.
  • Work with clients' enterprise architecture teams to define technical development guidelines and security guidelines for Salesforce-based applications.
  • Execute Change and Release Management for Salesforce applications using DevOps and CI/CD processes.
  • Provide guidance on master data management associated with Salesforce, including data capture, indexing, warehousing, storing, cleansing, and security.
  • Manage source code and associated repositories for Salesforce applications.
  • Recommend integration strategies with different business systems, including working with leading integration tools.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure team deliverables are vetted against best practices.
  • Provide strong leadership and mentoring of junior resources.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software development and system design experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce technical architect supporting Salesforce application design and implementation, including Experience Cloud.
  • 3+ years of practical deployment knowledge of Flows, Lightning components, VisualForce, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, APEX Web services, API, sharing models, Reports, and Dashboard, and AppExchange utilities.
  • 2+ years of experience with OmniStudio and Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.

Preferred:

  • Certified Application Architect or Certified System Architect highly preferred.
  • Experience on Federal Salesforce projects preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce Shield products.
  • Experience in Salesforce with end-to-end implementation in the following areas: understanding of key SFDC architectural concepts and how they influence design, data migration, SSO, and web services experience involving Salesforce platform, integrating with 3rd party solutions like DocuSign, Own, telephony systems, etc., experience with MuleSoft and APIs for systems integration with Salesforce.
