A Wire Cutter for Sonepar is responsible for coiling, spooling, cutting, and labeling wire to meet customer specifications. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut wire to the length specified on the order ticket
  • Label and deliver wire to the correct staging area
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the wire room
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production goals
  • Multi-task and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient workflow
  • Follow instructions and guidelines with minimal supervision
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting, preferably in the electrical distribution industry
  • Strong mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally
  • Reliable, responsible, and a strong work ethic
