Computed Tomography Imaging Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computerized Tomography Technologist to join our team at Tempe St. Luke's Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of vascular, invasive, and interventional procedures using sophisticated medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Perform vascular, invasive, and interventional procedures as required
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training and completion of a formal radiology program preferred
- ARRT, CRT, CT, and BLS certifications required
- Eight hours of stroke-specific education required initially, with four hours annually thereafter
- Basic computer skills and ability to adapt to change and manage time
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to exercise independent judgment in the completion of assignments and duties
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a CT scanning environment; new graduates accepted
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Salary Range: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
