About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Liberty Mutual. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of software developers and engineers to deliver high-quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and other technical teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our team is always using the latest and greatest tools and techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and engineering leadership.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products and services.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in software development methodologies, agile development, and DevOps.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
