About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Process Manager to join our Platform Engineering team at Capital One. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating associate technology initiatives, developing and coordinating end-user and support communications, and creating playbooks and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate associate technology initiatives with stakeholders, engineers, and end users
  • Develop and coordinate end-user and support communications across the enterprise
  • Create playbooks, help files, and technical documentation for end users and support teams
  • Track issues and raise concerns to the engineering lead(s)
  • Design, implement, and maintain key metrics used to measure progress
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and business reviews
  • Contribute to and help lead team stand-ups
  • Organize and schedule enterprise-impacting changes with engineering team
  • Support engineers with documenting and tracking product issues across the enterprise
  • Drive process improvements to ensure solutions are modern, frictionless, and secure
  • Manage and drive consistency across Platform Engineering teams
  • Coordinate cross-team inquiries, respond directly, and escalate to engineering team as needed
  • Cover compliance and operational risks, develop risk management strategies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in Process management, Product operations, or Product delivery
  • At least 1 year of Continual Improvement experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, 3+ years of experience with Jira or similar Project Management software, Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification, 2+ years of experience working with platform engineering teams, 3+ years of experience in Process management, Product operations, or Product delivery, 3+ years of experience in financial, banking, data, and technology areas
