At the University of Texas Medical Branch, we are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position that involves providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced practice healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of patient conditions.
  • Document patient care services accurately and thoroughly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including clinical directors, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Supervise assigned support staff to ensure effective team operations.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to improve patient outcomes and care processes.

Requirements:

  • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) by the Texas Board of Nursing (TBON).
  • Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in a nurse practitioner clinical area of specialization by the Texas Board of Nursing (TBON).

Education and Experience:

  • Completion of a graduate level (or higher) nurse practitioner program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • No experience required.
