Medical Surgical Unit Per Diem CNA

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate CNA to join our Medical Surgical Unit team on a per diem basis. As a CNA, you will provide safe and competent nursing assistant care to our patients, working closely with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Completes bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Ensures patient is provided with the names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
- Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
- Involves the patient and family in care, addressing psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs.
- Follows facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety.
- Adheres to fall precautions by performing/assisting patients with toileting/ADL care and never leaving the patient alone.
