Job Summary

Sierra Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical-Telemetry Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, ensuring that their care plan addresses their individual requirements.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication, promoting a culture of safety and respect.
  • Education: Provide education to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team, utilizing SBAR to minimize risks associated with handoffs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • License: Current Nevada nursing license.
  • Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certificates.
  • Experience: One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred.
