Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Trinity Employment Specialists. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Escort patients to and from exam rooms, provider offices, and treatment rooms as needed.
  • Record patient data prior to each provider visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medical changes.
  • Obtain patient records as required by the physician and verify consent prior to treatment or procedures.
  • Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed.
  • Assist with delegated patient education activities, including distributing education literature.
  • Perform EKGs as ordered by the provider.
  • Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, including hormones and biological growth factors.
  • Maintain exam room disinfection protocols.
  • Process instruments and equipment as needed.
  • Follow daily clinic chart triage guidelines.
  • Answer patient telephone calls for referral to the physician or nurse/pharmacist.
  • Phone in prescriptions and make other patient calls as directed by the physicians and RN.
  • Schedule patient tests, procedures, and hospital admissions, and schedule appointments to follow up on test results.
