Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in providing direct patient care, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical records under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN).

Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain related medical records.
  • Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures.
  • Take vital signs or observe patients to detect response to medication, and report reactions.
  • Restock medication inventories.
  • Provide direct patient care and ensure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations.
