Job Summary

As a seasoned Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the staff and operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and beverage menu items and services that exceed guest expectations. Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring they meet established brand or hotel standards and core values.
  • Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction, ensuring consistency and appeal in food and beverage outlets.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and associates.
  • Visualize and maintain the appearance of facilities, ensuring they are appealing and attractive to guests.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, demonstrating patience, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ensure all equipment is in working order, maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.
  • Participate in marketing efforts, promoting the restaurants and enhancing the guest experience.
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food, driving continuous improvement.
  • Document inventory, forecast usage, and monitor supply, ensuring restaurants are adequately stocked.
  • Abide by all regulations and requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages, maintaining a responsible and compliant environment.
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices, contributing to HHM's EarthView program.
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
Requirements
  • Prior management experience in restaurants is required, with a proven track record of success.
Work Environment and Context
  • Work schedule varies, including varied shifts, holidays, and weekends.
  • Requires ability to navigate throughout the restaurant and kitchen, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and associates verbally and in writing.
