Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Roadway Transportation Project Manager to join our team at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering all project objectives for assigned projects, including scope, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control project schedules, budgets, and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Develop and implement project management plans for assigned projects, including project pricing and budgets.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project-specific quality plans, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Coordinate and assist in client presentations, showcasing project progress and results.
  • Oversee and manage assigned staff working on project, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage all technical resources on the project team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and coordinate project scope, ensuring alignment with client needs and project objectives.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in project management software.
  • Skilled in Bentley MicroStation and associated design software, with experience in Open Roads Designer Software.
  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program, with a Professional Engineer License.
  • 10+ years' experience in developing roadway/highway plans, with a strong background in project management and business development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CAPM or PMP certification, with experience in project delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and P3.
  • Experience working with local clients at the county and state level, with a strong understanding of project management and business development.
Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment, with occasional field work required. Lighting and temperature are adequate, with no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.

Field work may be conducted outside in various weather conditions, with some lifting (up to 25 lbs) required as needed.
