CAD Technician for Civil Engineering

RaganSmith is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team in Chattanooga. This role is responsible for providing CAD support for Residential and Commercial Engineers, working closely with civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed drawings of residential, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Collaborate with Civil Engineers and Project Managers to meet deadlines
  • Assure all requirements are met on project documents
  • Additional related duties as needed
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience preparing civil site plans
  • Ability to work with deadlines in a team environment
  • Strength in multi-department coordination
  • Proficient written and verbal communication related to projects
  • Associate Degree in CAD Drafting, CAD Certification, or similar education preferred
  • Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • 1-4+ years of related work experience
