Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist III to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a key member of our neurodiagnostic team, you will be responsible for monitoring continuous EEG studies, performing routine and complex neurodiagnostic procedures, and supporting comprehensive patient care services.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor continuous EEG studies to recognize and denote abnormal activity in accordance with ACNS guidelines.
  • Perform routine and complex neurodiagnostic procedures in outpatient and inpatient facilities through a collaborative approach with the healthcare team.
  • Support and ensure that comprehensive patient care services are provided that support the integrity of the family system and patient care team.
  • Proactively support efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in inpatient setting.
  • Certified Long-Term Monitoring (CLTM) board eligible.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree or higher.
  • Graduated from a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic program.
Certification Summary
  • ABRET Certified Electroencephalographic Technologist (REEGT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to demonstrate competencies key to the position within six months of employment.
