Job Description:
As a Senior Design Engineer for Electronics Packaging, you will be responsible for designing and developing electro-mechanical systems and components for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in electronics packaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electro-mechanical systems and components for our clients.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with packaging teams to understand vehicle-level packaging requirements and verify thermal performance of ECUs.
  • Design 3D and 2D models with manufacturing tolerances accounted for to ensure good DFM and DFA.
  • Work with Tier 1/2/Contract Manufacturers vendors on component development plans and clarify technical queries.
  • Design board layouts for component placement and work with EE engineers to finalize connectors based on established requirements.
  • Work with the Environmental Test team and Vehicle Test teams to design test plans to validate designs at component, system, and vehicle levels.
  • Assess old and new suppliers for the project to get cost-effective, quality, and timely parts.

Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 4 years of industry-relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of different levels of electronics packaging, preferably Level 4 packaging.

Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
