Job Description:

Harris Geospatial Solutions is seeking a seasoned Contracting Expert to lead our Defense Electronics contracts organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of government and international contracting, with a strong business acumen and extensive experience with FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • RFP Review and Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough reviews of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and assess potential risks associated with contract negotiations.
  • Proposal Preparation: Develop and prepare high-quality proposals that meet customer requirements and showcase our company's capabilities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with customers to secure favorable contract terms and conditions.
  • Contract Administration: Oversee the administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Customer Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 15 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in contracts management, including overseeing large, complex proposals and negotiations.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading complex contracts organizations.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and government procurement regulations.
  • Security Clearance: This position requires the individual to be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
