Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team as a Cardiac Stress Testing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing cardiac stress tests, interpreting electrocardiogram tracings, and providing patient care in our outpatient Pacemaker Clinic.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform cardiac stress tests, including exercising blood pressure and monitoring electrocardiogram tracings
- Obtain past medical history, attach electrodes, and direct patients to perform prescribed physical activity
- Recognize normal and abnormal cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic responses to exercise
- Enroll, interrogate, and program outpatient pacemaker/ICD patients
- Coordinate and prioritize with other members of the healthcare team to respond to, plan, and initiate timely and efficient care
- B.S. in Exercise Physiology/Science, Cardiopulmonary Sciences or related field (or equivalent education, training or experience)
- 6+ months of cardiac stress testing experience
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the heart and cardiac medications
- Proven ability to independently perform tests, good interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills
