Cardiac Stress Testing Specialist

At Optum, we're committed to delivering high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes. As a Cardiac Stress Testing Specialist, you'll play a critical role in our team's efforts to provide exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiac stress tests, including exercising blood pressure and electrocardiogram monitoring
  • Obtain past medical history, attach electrodes, and direct patients to perform prescribed physical activity
  • Recognize normal and abnormal cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic responses to exercise
  • Enroll, interrogate, and program outpatient pacemaker/ICD patients
  • Coordinate with other healthcare team members to respond to, plan, and initiate timely and efficient care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology/Science, Cardiopulmonary Sciences, or related field
  • 6+ months of cardiac stress testing experience
  • EKG Certification or completion within a year of hire
  • CPR certification and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
