Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Circulator to join our Surgery Department. In this role, you will serve as a critical member of the surgical team, ensuring patient safety, managing the operating room environment, and advocating for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patient needs before, during, and after surgery.
  • Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments and equipment.
  • Ensure a sterile environment is maintained, upholding all safety and infection control standards.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide intraoperative support.
  • Act as the patient's advocate throughout the surgical process.
  • Coordinate communication between the surgical team and other departments.
  • Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
  • Licensure: Current Texas RN license required.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in surgical services or the operating room is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
