Job Title: Support Worker IAbout the Role

The Institute for Comm Living is seeking a dedicated Support Worker I to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In this role, you will work closely with our residents to provide individualized support and services that promote their growth and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advocacy, encouragement, and guidance to residents in expressing personal choice and ensuring community integration.
  • Assist with daily living skills, including personal hygiene care, toileting, lifts, and transfers.
  • Participate in recreational programs and activities that promote socialization and skill development.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to carry out care plans and administer medication (if necessary).
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all residents.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and have a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply.
