AGRONOMY OPERATIONS MANAGER

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER:

Our client is a well-established agricultural sales and service retailer located in the Midwest. The facilities have undergone recent updates, providing a modern work environment.

This position is situated in a vibrant rural community that boasts solid public education systems, recreational parks, grocery stores, and a variety of dining options.

The picturesque region of Northwestern Ohio is conveniently located near Lake Erie, offering numerous outdoor activities, while also being a short drive from a major urban center with extensive shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred candidates will possess an Agronomy or related agricultural degree; however, equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

  • At least 5 years of experience in agricultural sales and/or management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead an Agronomy Sales Team or manage an Agronomy facility.
  • Experience in overseeing operations and administrative staff.
  • Proficient in developing and managing operational budgets.
  • Current residency in the general vicinity of the facility or a candidate with local ties looking to return.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and meet the aforementioned qualifications for the Agronomy Operations Manager position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is collaborating with a reputable Agronomy Sales and Services provider to find a qualified Agronomy Operations Manager. The primary responsibilities will include overseeing the facility, managing personnel, and maintaining agronomy equipment and on-site structures, along with the development and upkeep of operational budgets.

The ideal candidate will hold a four-year degree in Agronomy and possess a minimum of five years of experience in managing an Agronomy facility, including operations, sales, and administrative staff.
