About the RoleAs a Medical Specialist in our Cardiothoracic Surgery department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team. Your expertise will be essential in helping us achieve our mission to improve health through patient care, research, education, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our experienced medical team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
- Participate in surgical procedures and assist with pre- and post-operative patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical practices and protocols.
- Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
- Current licensure as an RN or APP in the state of employment.
- National Certification in Thoracic Surgery (TCRNP) or equivalent.
- BLS certification.
