Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Anchor Hocking is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical equipment except forming machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, repair, and maintain all mechanical equipment except forming machines.
  • Work with Fire Suppression systems, troubleshooting and repair, dismantle, move, and reinstall equipment or machinery.
  • Work with Compressed Air systems, troubleshooting and repair.
  • Work in areas involving heights, small work areas, confined spaces, use fall protection, respirator, gloves, face shield, and other PPE.
  • Rig all types of equipment, including batch elevator belts, structural steel, motors, pumps, fans, to meet structural standards.
  • Perform complex welding in all types of formats and situations, type of welding rod, type of gas, and ventilation.
  • Determine tools, equipment, and materials required for each project.
  • Have a good understanding of reasoning behind different water systems, be able to make repairs, and maintain production using correct backup systems.
  • Build, install, repair, and maintain all sheet metal work, including the construction of guards, patterns, duct work.
  • Repair/Install Robot tooling, cullet conveyors, single line conveyors, unscramblers.
  • Understand proper sizing and specifications for bearings, sleeves, key ways, pulleys.
  • Work with Cracked Gas, Heating Gas, Process Gas, process steam, Reactor firing.
  • Maintain quality, always follow Lock Out, Tag Out procedures.
Requirements:

What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of $26.08, plus a $0.65 night shift differential.
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours in the week.
  • A monthly $100 attendance bonus and a $25 safety bonus.
  • Eligibility for benefits after 30 days.
  • Representation by the United Steelworkers after 30 days.
  • Eligibility for an Associate Degree with reduced costs through the USW.
  • A $1,000 attendance bonus opportunity, received after 2 months of perfect attendance.
