Electrical Instrumentation Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at WK Kellogg Co. As an Electrical Instrumentation Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting industrial equipment, programming and calibrating PLCs, and collaborating with other skilled trade individuals to ensure the efficient operation of our plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in programming and troubleshooting HMI graphical interfaces and PLCs, calibrating weigh scale systems, load cells, and loss of weight feeders.
- Prioritize innovation and communication by actively seeking ways to improve plant efficiency and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Partner and collaborate with the maintenance team to identify best practices, solutions, and techniques in solving plant breakdowns and troubleshooting needs.
Requirements
- 5 years of industrial maintenance electrical/instrument repair experience or 3 years of experience with formal relevant education or an accredited industrial maintenance electrical/instrument repair apprenticeship.
- Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
- PLC experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems.
