Job Description:
This Family/Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for performing history and physical assessments, providing services in accordance with generally acceptable standards of medical practice, developing plans of treatment/care for patients that include education and follow-up visits, making referrals as indicated by patient needs, communicating with other healthcare providers related to diagnosis, treatment, and plan for the patient, maintaining current and complete documentation in the medical record that reflects the care and services provided to the patient, and performing other duties as needed.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skillset, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), experience working with the adult population, and solid interpersonal skills. Additionally, licensure to practice medicine in the State of Vermont and board certification/eligibility in Family and/or Internal Medicine are required.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $250,000 per year, based on national averages for similar positions in New York City.
