Job Summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order parts and materials as required for repairs and maintenance
  • Manage work orders and ensure completion notes are recorded for all repairs
  • Review reports and ensure the system is properly utilized
  • Communicate with users and managers to resolve issues and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Assume responsibility for environmental reports, stormwater sampling, housekeeping, and inspections
  • Modify schedules and communicate with Central Services to ensure preventative maintenance and maintenance schedules are up-to-date
  • Execute equipment transfers and participate in month-end accounting functions
  • Maintain the EMS filing system and ensure proper signatures and dates are recorded on all paperwork
  • Maintain inventory and order fuel, oil, grease, welding supplies, and other consumable inventory
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with administering databases or deployed applications
  • Experience with report writing and managing fixed and mobile equipment in the aggregates industry
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Understanding of the Lab Check Program and current EMS knowledge
