Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hudson Companies. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our properties, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and conducting inspections to identify and address any damage or issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and address any damage or issues
  • Respond to resident service calls and perform repairs in a timely and professional manner
  • Interact with apartment tenants, vendors, and coworkers in a polite and professional manner
  • Complete all assigned maintenance work on vacant apartments for unit turns and make ready activities
  • Perform various preventative maintenance measures to extend the life of equipment and systems
  • Respond to on-call/after hour emergency maintenance requests/work orders
  • Maintain community grounds and perform tasks such as painting and cleaning carpets
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends
  • Knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
  • Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Proficient in using email, text, and phone communications
