We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at Ochsner Health System. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to our organization's mission to improve the health and well-being of our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary and urgent medical management to patients in outpatient clinics
  • Collaborate with residents, fellows, attendings, and staff nurses to plan, implement, and evaluate medical and nursing care
  • Assume responsibility for teaching residents and medical students, staff development and education, patient education, and discharge planning

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant medicine or Health Sciences, or graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Training Program
  • Master's degree in nursing
  • License as a Physician Assistant in the state of practice, NCCPA Certified, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
