Advanced Practice Healthcare Professional

Ochsner Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Healthcare Professional to join our team. As a specialist in integrative cancer care, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in oncology. With a focus on collaboration and teamwork, we are seeking an experienced provider who can work effectively with residents, fellows, attendings, and staff nurses to deliver exceptional medical and nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the cancer journey
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in oncology to ensure best practices are implemented
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant medicine or Health Sciences (PA)
- Current License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of practice (NP) or License as a Physician Assistant in the state of practice (PA)
- NCCPA Certified (PA)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- Eligible for Prescriptive Authority in the state of practice as outlined by the State Board of Nursing (NP) or State Board of Medical Examiners (PA)
