Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team at Levy, a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry. As a Steward, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen work areas and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain kitchen work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
  • Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation machines and equipment.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
  • Assist with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
  • Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
  • Comply with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
