Dental Care Professional

Family Dental at Wildlight is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support to our dental team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience from the moment they walk in the door.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities. Your duties will include:
• Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment
• Conducting thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care
• Taking and processing x-rays and diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology
• Providing superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during a wide range of procedures
• Utilizing Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
• Maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment, adhering to OSHA and CDC guidelines
• Managing supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed

Qualifications:
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 1+ years of experience in a dental setting, preferably with Dentrix or other dental software experience. A dental assisting school certification is also preferred. If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification are necessary. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
