Overview:
Family Dental at Wildlight is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support our team of dental professionals.

As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for greeting and welcoming patients, conducting thorough reviews of their health history, and providing superior chairside assistance to our dentists during a wide variety of procedures.

You will also be responsible for taking and processing x-rays, utilizing Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping, and preparing treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

* Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey
* Conduct thorough reviews of patients' health history
* Provide superior chairside assistance to dentists during procedures
* Take and process x-rays
* Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
* Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols

Qualifications:

* Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
* Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
* Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required by state dental practice act)
* Excellent communication and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
* Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
* Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
* Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically
