POSITION SUMMARY:
Janicki Industries, a pioneering family-owned aerospace firm, is seeking a skilled Production Technician to contribute to our innovative projects in the aerospace, defense, and space sectors.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
This position is based on-site and involves a variety of tasks requiring diverse skill sets. The Production Technician will engage in the wet-lay process of composite materials, including fabric, flow media, and resin, to produce industry-standard tooling. Additional responsibilities may include:
  • Understanding vacuum integrity and applying spray foam, putty, and chop.
  • Preparing and applying Duratec, along with sanding, grinding, and finishing aerospace tools.

Production Technicians are expected to:
  • Follow detailed instructions from work orders, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Receive guidance from supervisors and participate in training and safety programs.
  • Maintain organized work orders and ensure attention to detail and quality.
  • Identify and procure necessary tools and materials for job functions.
  • Adhere to safety practices and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Execute Hazardous Material Disposal activities properly.
  • Support production in various cells as needed.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines while fostering a cooperative atmosphere with colleagues and supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Legal Permanent Residents as per ITAR and EAR regulations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Preferred candidates will have prior experience in composite or fiberglass fabrication and repair. The ability to read and interpret technical documents and effective communication skills in English are essential.

COMPENSATION:
The wage range for this position is between $18 - $45 per hour, along with a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Additional pay may be available for off-shifts and off-site work.
