POSITION OVERVIEW:
Janicki Industries is a pioneering, family-operated aerospace firm dedicated to engineering and producing intricate projects for the aerospace, defense, and space sectors.

The role of the Production Technician is crucial to our operations, and it is based on-site in Washington State.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Production Technician will engage in a variety of tasks that require diverse skill sets. Responsibilities include:
  • Wet-lay application of composite materials, flow media, and resin for tooling.
  • Understanding and ensuring vacuum integrity.
  • Application of spray foam, putty, and chop.
  • Preparation and application of Duratec.
  • Performing sanding, grinding, and finishing of aerospace tools.

All Production Technicians must adhere to detailed instructions, possess basic mechanical skills, and demonstrate manual dexterity and keen eyesight. The ability to perform repetitive tasks is essential.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
As a Production Technician, you will:
  • Interpret and follow work orders, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Receive and execute directives from supervisors.
  • Participate in training and adhere to safety and quality protocols.
  • Maintain organized work orders and documentation.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Identify and gather necessary tools and materials for tasks.
  • Comply with safety practices and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Set up safety barriers and scaffolding as needed.
  • Execute proper hazardous material disposal procedures.
  • Support production across various cells as required.
  • Complete additional assigned duties.

Timeliness and consistent attendance are critical components of this role.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Due to regulatory requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or possess Legal Permanent Resident status.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Preferred candidates will have experience in composite or fiberglass fabrication. Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documents is required, along with effective communication skills in English.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The wage range for this position is between $18 - $45 per hour, accompanied by a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Additional compensation may be available for off-shifts and off-site work. The actual salary offered will be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
