Job Summary

This position requires a skilled individual to conduct plant handling, maintenance, and repair of production plant facilities, equipment, systems, buildings, and grounds operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling out requisitions in FIIX software
  • Inventorying parts used for repair of production equipment
  • Repairing or replacing defective equipment parts using the appropriate tools and reassembling the equipment
  • Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate
  • Updating the Preventative Maintenance (PM) logs for plant equipment, buildings, and HVAC
  • Assembling and troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Reading equipment drawings and electrical schematics
  • Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
  • Following and creating hazardous materials storage procedures and rules
  • Conducting the wastewater treatment system operating procedure
  • Actively promoting safety and accident prevention by continually observing all environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, rules, and standards throughout each working day
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree/Technical or Trade school preferred
  • Electrical experience preferred
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Cognitive thinking skills
  • Tool knowledge including but not limited to: Tape Measure, CNC Folder, CNC Router, Forklift, Plasma Arc, Cutting Torch, Overhead Crane, Iron Worker, Saw, Drill Press, Power Shear, Multimeter
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with some overtime varying (shift hours may vary)

Physical Demands
  • Lifting 50 lbs regularly
  • Standing/walking 8-12 hours/day on a hard surface
  • Working long hours in a warm or cold work environment
