Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Inspector IV to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test: Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of mechanical assemblies using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Quality Control: Read, interpret, and utilize quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document inspection results, verify work order documentation, and communicate quality issues to team members.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless execution of inspection tasks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and/or inspection, or 6 years of experience in a related field without a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, computer systems, and software applications, such as SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for 6+ hours per day, pass a color/vision test, and travel occasionally (less than 25%) to support flight test aircraft.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as aerospace engineering or quality assurance.
  • Industry Certifications: NDT certifications or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
