Job Title: Psychiatric Security Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Security Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Western State Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, ensure a safe and therapeutic environment, and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct skilled nursing care to adults experiencing behavioral health issues, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Participate in treatment planning, administer medications, and implement and chart treatment interventions.
  • Be a patient advocate for health maintenance and clinical care by monitoring conditions that may be detrimental to the care and treatment of your patients.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a current Washington State license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Completion of safety training within 30 days of hire.
