About the Role

Funko is seeking a talented Associate Designer to join our team. As an Associate Designer, you will play a key role in designing and creating artwork for various products and lines, working closely with other designers, sculptors, packaging artists, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create artwork for a variety of products and lines, including Pop Vinyl figures.
  • Develop a solid understanding of the Funko brand aesthetic and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Art Directors to achieve creative and artistic goals.
  • Communicate progress of work to production staff and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensure all artwork is properly backed up, organized, and stored.
  • Present innovative ideas to enhance visual concepts and designs.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy and perspective.
  • Work with other departments to ensure efficient production and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Concept Artist or Designer in character design and/or toy development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts or related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic editing/design software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Relentless passion and enthusiasm for the work.
