Funko Retail Store Associate Job Description

Funko is a leading pop culture and licensed-focused collectibles company, and we're seeking a talented Retail Store Associate to join our team at our flagship retail store in downtown Everett, WA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a unique shopping experience for our customers.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment.
  • Replenish merchandise, restock, and perform clean-up tasks as needed.
  • Determine customer needs based on personal features and other customer preferences.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to gain sales.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and friendly demeanor.
  • Be knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to POS procedures.
  • Handle cash and register for sales transactions.
Requirements:
  • One or more years of specialty retail sales experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • Customer focus mindset.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.
  • Able to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.
  • Must possess ability to process merchandise through POS register system.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Possess basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Able to use a calculator.
  • Must be able to calculate percentages and ratios.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and busy events around holidays and other events as required.
Compensation and Benefits:

The starting base salary range for this position is $17.00 per hour, with an additional benefit of a 401(K) plan that includes matching contributions from the company. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
