Job Title: Medical Assistant LPN, EMT Intermediate/Advanced or Paramedic

Central Oregon Pediatric Associates (COPA) is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant LPN, EMT Intermediate/Advanced, or Paramedic to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Escort patients to exam rooms, collect patient history and vital signs, and conduct screening tests as needed.
  • Provide necessary medical information to patients and families, and maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient's medical record.
  • Administer pediatric immunizations, medications, and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Assist with procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide phlebotomy services, answer phone requests, and follow up on orders and outstanding orders for the physician.
  • Assist with patient flow, anticipate physician needs, and support the clinical team in providing exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant, LPN, EMT Intermediate, EMT Advanced, or Paramedic training program.
  • Certification commensurate with training is required within 60 days of hire date.
  • Current CPR for Healthcare Provider certification is required.
  • Pediatric experience and Epic EMR experience are preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
Working Conditions:
  • Work inside in a general medical office setting with ergonomically configured equipment.
  • Exposure to hazards including proximity to mechanical parts and chemicals, including odors.
  • Travel between COPA clinics, business office, and lab as required.
