About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant Supervisor to join our team at Mosaic Medical. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting our dental assistants to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the dental assistant scope of practice and current competencies.
  • Act as Dental Assistant operational lead and support for programs that impact the Dental Assistant and role.
  • Monitor clinical services including infection control, safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage performance of the team, conduct monthly meetups and provide real-time and consistent coaching and training with all direct reports.
  • Ensure accountability of team, including but not limited to adherence with policies, procedures, guidelines, workflows, etc., addressing attendance, performance, and behavior concerns including corrective action if necessary.
  • Maintain the clinical schedule including coordination of daily staffing schedule to maintain proper coverage for dental services.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant required.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • CDA and/or EFDA certification.
  • Preferred but not required: People management experience and Community Health experience.
