Job Summary

Blew & Associates, P.A. is seeking a skilled Utility Locator Specialist to join our team. As a Utility Locator Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting field investigations to determine the locations of underground utilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field investigations on residential and commercial properties to identify underground utility locations.
  • Utilize Electromagnetic Locators (EM) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment to detect underground utilities.
  • Record findings with detailed reports and provide accurate information to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Travel up to 2 weeks at a time to conduct site investigations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Electromagnetic Locators (EM) preferred.
  • Competency in common utility infrastructure and construction practices.
  • Ability to operate survey-grade GPS systems.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
