About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Firmware Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at AbD Serotec. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our firmware products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate High-Level Requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate high-level product requirements into firmware requirements and specifications.
  • Perform Systems Testing: Conduct thorough systems testing against firmware requirements and specifications to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Work with Firmware Engineers: Collaborate with firmware engineers to define firmware requirements and test cases, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Develop Test Cases: Create comprehensive test cases and test embedded firmware and manufacturing test software to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Investigate and Deliver Solutions: Investigate and deliver new and innovative system solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Participate in Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews, API testing, and documentation to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with New Technologies: Stay current with new technologies and advancements in the field, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our products.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience as a Firmware QA Engineer, Embedded Systems Test Engineer, or Robotics Firmware Specialist.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages, experience with MATLAB, and knowledge of sensors data collection and analysis, design of motion control or PID control.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
