Job Title: Data and Program Coordinator

Urban Upbound is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data and Program Coordinator to join our Workforce Development Program team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the program's databases, providing data analysis and quality management, and supporting clients with low computer literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the program's databases, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data.
  • Provide data analysis and quality management to support program leadership.
  • Assist clients with low computer literacy skills, providing training and support.
  • Set up, maintain, and organize the computer lab space, including computers, printers, tables, and bulletin boards.
  • Ensure the program is in compliance with funders' requirements regarding intake, assessment, and other service-related documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service, supporting clients in enrolling in computer literacy training.
  • Conduct computer literacy skill workshops.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and technologies for safeguarding data integrity and responsible use.
  • Use design software to create promotional materials for the program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Science Research, Data Science, or a related field, or 4 years of experience in a data-related position.
  • Experience facilitating workshops or conducting training sessions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (G Suite).
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Flexible, with the ability to work one evening per week and at least one Saturday per month.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and produce high-quality work in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with high integrity and respect.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with capacity to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience creating social media content and knowledge of design are a plus.
  • Open to learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaker is a plus. Other languages are welcomed.
  • Sense of humor and passion for social justice.
