Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide individualized care to patients undergoing dialysis, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures.
- Dialysis Machine Preparation: Prepare and maintain dialysis machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
- Transportation and Record-Keeping: Transport patients to and from dialysis treatment, record patient data, and maintain accurate records.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on dialysis procedures, treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain dialysis equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting areas of access.
- Treatment Monitoring: Monitor patients during dialysis treatment, identifying and responding to any adverse reactions or equipment malfunctions.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory management and supply stocking to ensure a smooth operation of the dialysis clinic.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; evidence of such is required pre-employment.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 months of dialysis, phlebotomy, or CNA/PCA experience preferred.
- Certifications: CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Color Vision: Ability to distinguish primary colors, as demonstrated by passing the Ishihara Color Vision Test.
- Training: Successful completion of our dialysis training program, including demonstrated competency, within 12 weeks of hire.
- Certification Requirements: Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved national certification requirements within the CMS timeline. Certification must be maintained as current and in good standing.
- Flexibility: Must be flexible to work most days/times (no set shifts).
- Communication Skills: Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Computer Skills: Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all clinical applications is required within 90 days of hire.
- Time Management: Must be able to organize time and tasks well.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Required use of problem-solving, analytical, and effective communication skills.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Interpersonal Skills: Must have interpersonal skills necessary to work with patients, staff, and all other individuals as required.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task in an efficient, professional, and calm manner.
- Physical Demands: Frequent long periods of standing, bending, stooping, walking, sitting.
- Lifting: The ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License.
